Kwantu Private Game Reserve

School Groups

SCHOOL GROUPS AND EDUCATIONAL TOURS

A visit to Kwantu Private Game Reserve turns classroom lessons into something learners can see and remember. The reserve is about an hour from Gqeberha, and the Big 5 roam free in their natural habitat. Game viewing takes place from vehicles with experienced rangers.

Trip options

  • Day visit: a Big 5 game drive with a meal. Morning visits start at 09:00 and afternoon visits at 13:00, so groups can be home the same day.
  • Overnight camp: one to three nights with morning and afternoon game drives, guided learning, sport and evening activities.
  • International school tours: tailor-made programmes for visiting school groups.
  • Valedictory and matric functions: venues for end-of-year celebrations.

Peace of mind for teachers

  • Malaria-free reserve
  • Alcohol-free environment, with halaal catering available
  • Facilities for groups, including a lecture venue, sports fields and swimming pools
