Booking and payment

• Online bookings (via our NightsBridge booking engine): full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Bookings made with our reservations team: full payment or a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival.
• Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received. Kwantu may cancel an unpaid booking without prior notice.

Cancellation policy (overnight stays)

• Individual guests: a 100% cancellation fee applies if a booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival.
• Groups: a 100% cancellation fee applies if a booking is cancelled less than 45 days before arrival.
• Any exception must be agreed with Kwantu in writing.

What an overnight stay includes

• Welcome snacks and beverages
• Luxury 5-star accommodation inside the reserve
• Two game activities per night
• Breakfast and buffet dinner
• Lunch when staying more than one night (lunch on the day of arrival or departure is not included)
• Non-alcoholic beverages with meals – Kwantu is an alcohol-free environment
• Evening entertainment (groups of 10 guests or more)

Optional extras: night or additional game drives (R350 per person). Airport and other transfers are not included and are quoted per person on request.

Children

• Pollards Inn: children aged 0–4 stay free; children aged 5–11 pay 50% of the sliding-scale rate.
• Luxury Bush Lodge: adults only – children are not accommodated.
• For other accommodation types, please ask our reservations team.

During your stay

• Check-in from 14:00; check-out by 10:00.
• Kwantu is an alcohol-free reserve – alcohol may not be brought onto the property.
• No pets are allowed.
• Game drives and activities take place in a wildlife environment and are undertaken at the guest’s own risk; guests may be asked to sign an indemnity form.
• Kwantu reserves the right to amend a booking where an incorrect accommodation type, rate or extra has been selected, and to charge any difference in price.

Day visits

Day visits are booked through our ActivityBridge booking page, where the applicable terms are shown at the time of booking.
